History
I started my sites on freewebs. I made one, about my ice skating hobby. And made up silly stories about ice skating which would be as rubbish as Hannah wanted to walk to the ice rink and her grandad said no. So she skipped there. Then I ran out of space, so I made another one about ice skating. That one was better, and I talked about my friends and put on pictures. Then my friend made a piczo. And I wanted to explore. So I made one. It was pathetic, with all little glitters on and it was crammed with useless stuff which I didnt need. Then I added pages for the heck of it. Which "tricked people". The page was called something like My cats then you would click it and it would be about Mcfly or something dumb like that. Then I wanted to make something professional, so I made a new site, and soon I had too many sites to count. Then me and my friend had a competition to see who could keep their site the longest. I didnt last long, making a new site in two weeks of the compitition. So on my new site I decided to stick to it. And it is still there now. So then I wanted to learn HTML, and soon enough I had cursors and text boxes and navigation on my page using HTML. Then I wanted to give myself a challenge. So I did a new freewebs with HTML. And it didnt succeed. So I decided I was going to try to get hosted. But there was time limits on getting the site running. So I decided to get a domain of my own, so I had anytime I wanted. So here is my site today. Still hanging on.
The Name
When I came to naming my site. I was stuck. I was going to have my old site name and go for my-obsession-ox.co.uk. But it seemed too much. So I thought of little cute things like,
PandaDreams
Pinkfluff
and Purple-Pink. I then decided on the first thing that came into my head, which was purple-splash. So I had that. I still wish I had PandaDreams, but as I edit my site more, I like purple-splash more and more.
